At SPUR, I directed a team that synthesizes complex legislation, regulation, and public policy into formats that supported and advanced SPUR’s key priorities, created open dialog, and cultivated relationships between Bay Area residents and California changemakers. We convened elected officials, heads of major public agencies, thought leaders, and industry executives in order to make headway on many of the state’s most contested policy issues, and then empowered the public by providing them with a seat at that table. It is through these efforts that I was able to build consensus, shape the public conversation, and progress SPUR’s policy agenda of a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous future for all.In addition, I led the expansion of the organization's engagement efforts to a regional scale, co-led the strategic rethinking of the organization’s communications and engagement function, championed the formation of new partnerships and the expansion of existing relationships with companies, agencies, and organizations across the country to expand our funding and programming capabilities, curated and designed dozens of exhibitions, and served as the public face of SPUR at thousands of events and for more than 110,000 attendees during my tenure.

After six years of working with design firms, I spent a year as an independent designer, where I conceptualized and formulated innovative urban design and graphic communication projects for clients in the public, private, and non-profit sectors across the United States, Europe, and China. Over the course of the year, I collaborated with colleagues and stakeholders from around the world to visualize and craft community and urban design projects through the use of hand drawn, 2D and 3D plans and renderings.

FUZE was a boutique urban design firm that I co-founded with a mission of providing a tailored approach to resolving complex design issues in close collaboration with clientele. During its three years in operation, I managed cross-functional teams in the creation of graphic design and visual communication projects for a diverse client base, including non-profits, municipalities, and private firms, and facilitated workshops and community meetings that brought together experts, local residents, and other key stakeholders to support meaningful conversations toward community design solutions.

At KTGY, I collaborated with teams across the organization to plan and design housing and mixed-used developments throughout California. In the role, I led multifaceted teams to coordinate closely with clients, contractors, public officials, and community stakeholders to working closely with clients to determine needs and create permittable documents in compliance with government codes and regulations.
