Throughout my life I have always been fascinated with building and creation. Whether it was building Legos or studying model cars, mechanics has always been something I’ve loved. I now study Mechanical Engineering at UNT. Although it’s my first year attending UNT I have learned that no one is defined by a bachelors or master’s degree. To succeed and be better at any job it is good to be a well-rounded person. Outside of studying to be a mechanical engineer I am also a soccer player, fisherman, gamer, hiker, and mountain biker. Besides things I love to do, these activities open me up to the world teaching me new things. My goals are to obtain my bachelor’s and master’s in mechanical engineering and get a job in design, robotics, or anything in the field of aviation or nautical machinery. So far, I have taken calculus 1 but currently learning to use Solid Works (CAD).
