I see problems as personal challenges. Over the years, I have realized that the only thing more important than a tenacious work ethic, is the ability to collaborate with others. I obtained a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering at Chico State University in the summer of 2022. I have learned many important key skills that are essential for engineering.• Participated in the DDETFP: a fellowship focused on research for transportation throughout the United States. I attended the meeting in Washington D.C. to view current projects in several areas of transportation and presented my own research project to the local board of engineers in my hometown• Completed courses in CAD modeling, coding, and analysis classes, as well as manufacturing and project courses that have taught me about the engineering design process• Experience at the Baja club at Chico State, where I learned how to apply my analysis classes to a project. The Baja club features a team of engineering students who collaborate to design a racing off-road buggy and compete against other schools
