Noah Eliot Gotbaum is an award-winning mission-driven leader with a track record of raising funding and revenue, developing strategy, and successfully growing, non-profit, private financial, and public organizations. Noah has led campaigns raising over $600 million primarily for organizations in youth/education, housing/community development, social justice, developing markets, healthcare, service, sustainability, financial inclusion, and workforce development. He maintains broad funding relationships with foundations/endowments, corporates, labor, public and private pension plans, family offices, sovereigns and high net worth individuals. He also has exceptional business/partnership, project management, communications/marketing, and strategy skills. Noah founded his own firm, New Spirit Capital, as an early impact investment fund, and now focuses on fundraising/strategic advisory to non-profits and start-ups. Early in his career, Noah worked in community development for CBRE and Forest City Ratner Development, also raising funding for the Democratic Party, the Fresh Air Fund, and American Jewish World Service. Noah then conceived of, raised initial funding for, and served as the Founding Board Chair and long-time Board Director for New York Cares, now America's largest local volunteer organization. He also coined the now ubiquitous "Cares" name. Following his Yale MBA, Noah moved to Europe and embarked on a career focused on the nascent developing and social impact markets in C-level fundraising, business development, and strategy roles for a number of mission-driven investment firms/funds including as a Senior Partner at the Booz-Allen spin off, the Central Europe Trust Company; as CEO and CIO of the $240 million PBO/OPIC New Europe Real Estate private equity fund; and as head of European Corporate Development/Strategy, and later Global Head of Partnerships, at Nasdaq-listed Level 3 Communications. Noah then returned to his native New York City, founding, raising and running his own successful developing markets' and impact investment fund, later raising capital funding as elected Chairman of CEC3, NYC's publicly-public school board for Manhattan's Central Harlem and Upper West Side. After serving as MD of Fundraising/Business Development at the $8+ billion asset manager, The Rohatyn Group, Noah then was appointed CEO of Building Neighborhoods Together (BNT) re-vitalizing the homelessness and community development organization from major losses to financial stability. Noah is a proud graduate of Amherst College and Yale School Of Management.
