As a student-elected officer of the Engineering Society, I represented student interests and facilitated interactions between university faculty and all the student groups, clubs and design teams. I was responsible for the affiliation of new and existing student groups as head of the Club Affiliation Committee and I was a part of the Executive, Board of Directors and Finance Committees. In January 2023, our VP Finance resigned so along with our President, I helped to take up the role for the remainder of the year. I was responsible for running the Finance Committee, acting as a signing authority, overseeing VP Finance directorships (commercial operations, dinner dances) as well as hiring the new directors at the end of the year, all in addition to a busy final semester and my own responsibilities as VP Student Life.

Our store serves as an additional support resource for engineering students, givingrecommendations on which supplies they need and selling engineering-related merchandise. I was responsible for hiring and training an executive and sales associate team, managing a $70,000 yearly budget, and tracking monthly expenses, sales, and wages. My co-manager and I were forced to rethink daily operations to be compliant with public health and university guidelines during the COVID pandemic. In the end, despite an ongoing pandemic, we sold over $10k in product over the year and were honoured as Project Directors of the Year by the University of Toronto Engineering Society.

As a sales associate, I'm responsible for running the store independently during my shift, cleaning and maintaining the store and attending to any customers who interested in products or have questions about the store or the engineering community in general.Engineering Stores is a student-run non-profit store in the University of Toronto dedicated to providing students with school supplies including textbooks, paper, pens and school-related merchandise like t-shirts and engineering jackets.
