A former service industry professional stepping out from behind the bar into the dynamic world of web development. The sixteen years I've spent working in fast-paced, customer facing environments have enabled me to juggle multiple tasks, think quickly on my feet, and develop a strong foundation of soft skills that I look forward to applying to a new career in the tech industry. I'm currently enrolled in the full-time full-stack coding program at Epicodus, learning JavaScript, React, and C#. I love that every day of new material presents a unique challenge; as an avid puzzler, I'm passionate about using creative problem solving to find elegant solutions, and as the guitar player and lead singer of a rock band, I'm not afraid to speak up and share my passions with the people around me.I'm anxiously anticipating a future career as a software engineer where I can flex my mental muscles and continue an educational process that is never truly complete because there is always more to learn.
