It was at my journalistic-centered high school, that I first found a passion for the media industry. I became fond of working behind and in front of the camera. I began to create news packages and, anchored the school news show. It was from this experience, that I realized with a camera or pen in hand, storytelling came naturally to me. These experiences inspired me to pursue this passion at Elon University, where I am now a recent graduate, having majored in Strategic Communications and minored in Business Administration. During my time at Elon, I learned the ins and outs of strategic communication; namely, by completing a strategic campaigns class, which helped to prepare for my future career goals by working on professional brand campaigns. Elon has offered many opportunities to connect with professionals and work towards my goals. In the Summer of 2023, I was fortunate to intern with Sublime Communications. This experience enabled me to hone my skills and prepare for a professional career. There, I worked on copywriting, writing for advertisements, social media marketing, editing, graphic Design, and production.
