I am a graduating Mechanical Engineer with over a year’s worth of experience in the high-speed startup industry. During this time, I have gained experience in manufacturing engineering, operations, mechanical engineering, product design, research and development, and improving product production. When beginning my current position, I had no prior knowledge of manufacturing engineering and no industry experience in design. In just over a month I gained the essential knowledge I needed to excel within my position and show that I was capable of taking on further responsibilities. This led to my current task within my position which is redesigning a current product to decrease failures and improve manufacturability. Through my education, I have a large understanding of product design and development, thermal dynamics, and finite element analysis. My CAD experience includes the following: Autodesk Inventor throughout high school and in college, Creo and SolidWorks throughout college, and over a year’s worth of industry experience with SolidWorks. I currently am a Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) and am in the process of studying for the SolidWorks Professional certification in my personal time. Cutting edge innovation and design is what I am most passionate about. I am excited about how the technology will affect the future generations and technologies.
