About Noah Moseley

My role as a co-founder of the MSX Group has me focused on Prospero (our very own financial reporting and budgeting solution) and Microsoft's financial reporting and budgeting solutions (Management Reporter, Forecaster and FRx). I work with these products every day so email me if you need assistance with implementations, training or support (noah.moseley@msxgroup.com). On a daily basis, I work with clients (mostly accounting, finance and IT professionals); partner firms on business development; MSX Group accounting (including payroll, invoicing, collections, taxes and treasury duties; medical insurance requirements; business insurance requirements and what seems like a never-ending list of To Do Items.I was formerly employed as a consultant with Microsoft from March 2001 through May 2009. During that time, I focused on financial and business intelligence applications including PerformancePoint (PPS) Planning, FRx Financial Reporter, Great Plains (eEnterprise), Microsoft Forecaster and Enterprise Reporting (ER). My engagements have spanned both short-term (days/weeks) and long-term (months) time periods. The majority of my engagements have been in the U.S. although I have had engagements in Bermuda, Canada and Mexico. Engagements overseas are always available for consideration. My passport is current and ready to go.After leaving Microsoft, a few former Microsoft colleagues and I formed the MSX Group as a consulting practice to focus on financial reporting and budgeting software applications. The MSX Group will focus on the applications that we have all been implementing all of our time at Microsoft including Microsoft FRx, Microsoft Forecaster, PerformancePoint Server and Enterprise Reporting. Contracted Budget AdministrationA new task I have assumed as of late is being a contracted budget administrator. Budgeting is, for some companies, a once-a-year endeavor (some say ordeal). Instead of dedicating in-house staff, a client of mine asked that I run their budget process. It worked out really well. I did everything remotely via email, telephone and remote desktop or using GoToMeeting. They did not have to worry about the software. They just gave me budget requirements and deadlines.
