Fostered relationships with clean tech start-ups, OEMs and investors to support market expansion and entry into new markets.*Business line optimization - Directed sales and market analysis teams to grow custom market consulting for clean tech research by 30%+ for two consecutive years. Streamlined revenue and operations, coordinating projects and leading sales efforts.*Market Opportunity Assessment - For multiple privately held financial institutions, performed market landscape analysis and due diligence on clean-tech related markets for investment opportunities. As a result, significant investments were made in building energy management technology and energy efficiency technology companies.

Working with the researchers at the DOE-funded EEB Hub, developed metrics and processes to evaluate the performance of this ambitious and needed program. Performed building energy efficiency simulation and modeling to optimize building design.

Led research projects on domestic and international energy topics spanning building efficiency, renewable power, spatial modeling of energy use, and the risk of urban wildfires. Ensured the lab site followed DOE’s sustainability guidance, guiding a multi-department team to develop and implement the lab’s site sustainability strategy. Published 25+ peer-reviewed articles. * Energy Efficiency Buildings Hub - Directed LLNL’s computational building energy research for the DOE-funded $120M project centered in Philadelphia. Responsible for governance and developing metrics for the Hub’s success.* High Performing Computing for Energy Innovation (HPC4 Energy) - Spearheaded the building energy efficiency sector to open up computing resources to industry, leading the first cohort of technology companies to access lab computers.* Site Sustainability - Pioneered sustainability planning and reporting approach for the lab to highlight science and innovation in computing and alternative energy, including an award-winning sustainability report.
