I work as a chemist on the Milk Quality Animal Health (MQAH) R&D team at DeLaval Inc. in Kansas City, MO, and I am proud to be part of a team that develops products to improve the milk production and animal health at dairy farms around the globe.I began at DeLaval in March of 2022 as a formulation chemist contracted through Piney Technical Services for a six-month term, and after five months, I was hired on permanently by DeLaval as a Chemist I. Before working as a chemist, I attended Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and received my Bachelor's of Arts in Chemistry from the Purdue School of Science in December of 2021. While attending college, I worked at Needler's Fresh Market (Fresh Encounter Inc.) in New Palestine, IN, Lowes in Indianapolis, IN, and Amazon Inc. in Edgerton, KS. I also actively volunteered as a member of the youth team at Calvary Tabernacle in Indianapolis, IN.I have been a proud Eagle Scout since October of 2015, and I thoroughly enjoy the outdoors, hiking, skiing, scuba diving, board games, reading, music, and traveling.
