-Lead a team of 35 guards and managed their support of the programs implemented at the Greta Home and Academy and surrounding areas. Worked closely with projects staff to facilitate the continued safety of the compound and children. -Conducted site surveys and assisted with needs assessments in several areas in southern Haiti during which interviews were conducted with local populace to identify and record the ways Samaritan’s Purse could assist. -Coordinated closely with school administration to assist in teaching different practical skills, both tangible and intangible, including English and Spanish language, leadership, career pursuit, and goal setting lessons.

-Coordinated with local sources to provide timely information to the lead security manager used to keep Samaritan’s Purse staff alerted to threats.-Integrated with local groups to develop an understanding of cultural intricacies and grow a network of individuals closely tied with the reporting of needs that develop within each respective community.-Conducted security training for all incoming personnel and undertook sweeping changes to reinforce accountability of equipment used throughout the nation for security and other needs.-Cooperated with multiple teams to facilitate route planning, risk assessment, and the further enabling of aid delivery.

-Facilitated the safe execution of the USMC’s premier live-fire training exercise over 2 years and 8 iterations. This allowed over 16,000 organization members from the junior to the senior level to receive critical training prior to deployement or continued activities in the operational forces.-Facilitated planning for senior level leadership during high intensity and challenging scenarios including live-fire and active use of multiple types of aircraft.-Provided training courses at the tactical and operational level to both junior and senior members, then conducted evaluations and reporting on the performance of teams participating in training.-Authored the trend report which detailed the performance of each team participating in training and provided guiding steps for improvement for future activities.

-Responsible for the tactical and technical training of 68 Marines with specialties including Communication Specialists, RADAR operators, cannoneers, and motor transport operators-Took command of several artillery pieces and vehicles equating to over 15 million dollars-Deployed to Asian-Pacific providing a response force prepared to deliver military support or humanitarian assistance for any crisis present in the area-Consistently analyzed emerging threats to plan for rapid debarkation from ship to required areasAs the unit Embarkation Officer:-Responsible for transfer of Marines and equipment from the United States to Okinawa, Japan during deployment.
