Represent the 3,000+ undergraduates at Brandeis University and lead a team of over 70 to implement projects to improve student life.

Runs the Judiciary Board, which resolves conflicts and advises members of the Student Union, and clarifies the meaning of the Constitution and Bylaws. I also act as a member and advisor for the Executive Board, which operates and administers policy for the entire Student Union.

For two semesters I have managed the Social Justice and Diversity Committee, a part of the Senate within the Brandeis University Student Union. I have managed administrative tasks, such as agenda setting and taking attendance, as well as communicating with high level faculty and staff. Our advocacy has encompassed increasing pronoun visibility; working to further integrate international students into student life; and reforming the mandatory health and wellness module to include more information on addiction resources, sexual health and consent, and a land acknowledgement.

Roosevelt Fellows are peer academic advisors who work closely with Academic Services. We are assigned a caseload of first year or transfer students to support in their academic transition and acclimation upon coming to Brandeis. Our role is to also act as a more informal resource for addressing students' academic needs. Roosevelt Fellows also host or facilitate events that aim to spread information about Brandeis's various majors, minors, and programs, academic policies, fellowships, among many other academic topics.

I am working under Kerry Chase, Associate Director of Politics. Currently, I am indexing the archives of the New York Times for usage of the term "genocide" in specific cases. This is part of a project to review "naming and shaming" as a tactic to deter genocide on the world stage. Previously I collaborated with a team of two other research assistants to find online videos for his course entitled, "POL15A: Introduction to International Relations." These videos correspond to the units of the course and help make international relations feel real and relevant for students.

Worked as an assistant and counselor to the President in a variety of matters, including in navigating matters involving state and national organizations. I oversaw the First-Year Leadership Initiative Program and helped them develop their idea for an event and work on teamwork strategies. In this role, I also suggested edits to the Brandeis Democrats Constitution.

In this role I sent two newsletters every week to a listserv of over 800 people. I provided opportunities, calls to action, and club news in a fun tone. I fielded any requests to promote events through this listserv and any attempts to coordinate an event with the Brandeis Democrats. For any events, I managed most contact. I also managed our social media presence, most notably Instagram. Although not a formal duty, I created games (such as personalized Jeopardy!) and other programming for our weekly meetings.

For this position I participated in all Executive Board meetings and learned the ins and outs of the organization. The culmination of this program was a panel that my partner and I planned, coordinated, and finally moderated with two Brandeis professors entitled The Supreme Court: Legacy and Future. The panel attracted 30 participants and was hosted via Zoom.
