As a recent graduate of Clemson University, I am excited to transition into the working world. I am passionate about people, efficiency, and critical problem-solving. Through my course work, I have developed an affinity with Excel. I have come to enjoy the process of data analysis that can be achieved through the software. I have learned how to combine the tools of finance with the tools of technology. Clemson's financial management program is unique in that it focuses on accounting principles before focusing on financial analysis, effectively building an Accounting minor into the Financial Management program. This foundation in Accounting has proven invaluable in my experiences with real-world financial data. Understanding how resources flow through a business has strengthened my grasp of finance immensely. As a driver for retirement members at the Cypress of Charlotte, I was able to improve my organizational skills by working with my team to schedule rides for members. There would often be unforeseen circumstances that would force us to think on our feet. We had a schedule to follow but we learned how to adapt when needed.
