As a prosthetic technician, I get to assist in designing/fabricating custom fitted orthotic and prosthetic devices. Some skills I currently use are:I am knowledgeable with inventory management. - I have prior experience as an assistant dept. manager for Menards. - Currently utilize several proven inventory practices (ex: creating custom labels). - Exposure to various inventory control methods. I have experience providing customer care/patient care best practices.- I utilize my prior conflict resolution techniques as through my experience in retail.- I keep in the know by learning about new HIPAA practices, and regularly ground my self in the essentials.- I make sure to confidently and respectfully listen to a patient or customer's needs! I n my experience Most problems are resolved by thoughtful clarification tactics. I continue to expand my knowledge toolbelt!- I truly believe in the philosophy of the "lifelong learner" mentality.- I have a degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, I still use those skills in other ways. - Due to my varied background, I utilize my growing list of technical skills to drive creative solutions.- I am currently practicing CAD design in Fusion 360, actively learning Spanish, working on obtaining ABC accreditations for technician/assistant statuses, and others.
