I grew up in the Metro-Detroit area which led me to love all Detroit sports and sports in general. My friends and I found ourselves outside the majority of the time playing games until the street lights went down. My first ever sports memory came while watching the "Best Five Alive". My mom took my younger brother and I down to the Palace and I was immediately drawn in by the fire during the intros. In high school, I wasn't sure what the future had in store but I knew I wanted a career in sports. I was the captain of the varsity basketball team which was my first introduction to commitment and team building. I was a smaller guard so getting my shot blocked became pretty common but so did never giving up and keep attacking the basket. Upon graduation I chose to attend Central Michigan University where I received my bachelor's degree. CMU allowed me to make mistakes and grow as an emerging professional. I was also taught the importance of balance and relationship building. I will always be a Chippewa but I later went on to complete my Master's in Sports Administration from Northwestern University. As a Wildcat I gained valuable insight into the sports industry that has helped me to succeed in this ever evolving industry. Now in my current role as an Account Executive of Membership Services for the Detroit Tigers I am now afforded the opportunity to help others create sports memories that will last a life time.
