Embedded systems engineer focused on firmware development. Currently electrifying the automotive industry at Cascadia Motion.-------------------------------------------------------------------------I graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2016. My coursework primarily focused on RF and microwave circuit design but I quickly learned through a couple of internships that I was more passionate about embedded systems.I spent my first few years out of academia as the lead firmware developer for several different power equipment platforms at Oregon Tool. Alongside firmware development, I created diagnostic and debugging tools to aid the product development process. Some of my time was spent researching new technology to integrate into our tool platforms. This gave me the opportunity to familiarize myself with Bluetooth Low Energy both on the embedded and mobile side.
