As a co-founder of Far North Visuals, I have spearheaded a dynamic and successful full-scale production company that has established a strong presence in our local community. Our team has a proven track record of producing high-quality visual content for a diverse range of clients, including local businesses, charities, and educational institutions. In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, we rose to the challenge and organized and live-streamed our high school's graduation ceremony, providing a valuable service to our community during a difficult time. We are proud to have worked closely with the City of Campbell River to create a thought-provoking reflection video that gave voice to our Indigenous communities and helped move us towards a more inclusive society. Our success has also enabled us to work with larger companies such as Telus – who we are currently producing a 10-episode documentary series for.In this role I actively:- Coordinate with clients to ensure product satisfaction;- Plan, film, and edit video content; - Manage various forms of our social media and website;- Handle front-end business logistics;- Collaborate with clients to produce a product that reflects their vision.

- Responsible for all photography/videography at events- Edits photos/videos and creates albums to be uploaded onto the Facebook page- Designs cover photos for Facebook events- Coordinate with VP Communications to ensure smooth operations of social media

As the VP Internal for MUPSS I am actively:- Setting and recording the meetings of the Executive Committee;- Representing the interests of MUPSS to SSMU;- Maintaining and publishing the weekly listserv;- Conducting administrative duties for the smooth operation of MUPSS as a whole;- Preparing and putting on technical workshops for software like Photoshop or Lightroom to teach new strategies for our members;- Assisting the President when required.In addition to these tasks, I help in other ways when required. As well, I hold office hours twice a week for a combined three hours where I assist members of the club with their needs. This can include but is not limited too:- Registering and accepting their payments to become a member of the club;- Assisting with equipment rentals (Cameras, Lights, Lenses);- Digitally scanning their film negatives and uploading them to our cloud for them to access;- Completing their requests for physical prints of their photos;- Provide help if necessary when they are using our darkroom to develop film.

As the Multimedia Editor for the McGill Tribune I am completing the following tasks:- Coordinating with written section editors to create content ideas for joint section work;- Pitching potential photo and media requests at section meetings;- Participating in editorial board discussions once a week;- Completing any potential production day duties;- Mentoring contributors;- Communicating and coordinating with the Creative Director;- Hosting weekly meetings within my section to keep contributors on track for current projects and informed of potential future pitches;- Producing weekly content (often videos and podcasts);- Organizing the Tribune’s annual film festival;- Writing a longer form 'Feature Article,' and shorter 'Off the Board' piece for one week's publication.

As a staff producer for the McGill Tribune I would attend weekly meetings where the Multimedia team would discuss our weekly content that was being put out and bring up new ideas. I worked on multiple videos and podcasts during my school year with the Tribune. This included writing, planning, filming, and editing each project that I worked on.

Discovery Foods is a local grocery store where I worked during my high school years. I was trained in multiple departments and could supply my help wherever it was needed. During this job, I got much better with my customer service skills, and my ability to work with others increased greatly.
