About Noah X. Mixon

I have a Bachelor's degree in Communication with a focus in Public Advocacy from Madonna University, where I also worked as a peer mentor, student ambassador, and writing center tutor. I have a passion for helping others reach their goals, especially youth who face challenges such as learning disorders, mental illness, or trauma. I have experience in conducting community street outreach, engaging youth who are disengaged from care or in crisis, and supporting youth as they access the services offered to them. I have also co-taught an English class for 60 high school students at Conserve School, a residential semester school focused on environmental stewardship, where I founded two weekly support groups for Queer students and for students of color. I have strong skills in emotional intelligence, event planning, coordination, and public advocacy. My goal is to empower and inspire others to overcome barriers and challenges, and to create a more inclusive and compassionate society.
