As a marketing major at the University of South Florida, I have a strong interest in working in the sports industry as a marketer, but I am open to other industries as well, such as environmental sustainability. I have a strong passion for learning about marketing strategies, and I hope to apply them in future positions. I have strong critical thinking, organizational communication, and adaptation skills that are valuable in the workplace.Currently while I am pursuing my degree, I am working as an aquatic attractions lifeguard at Adventure Island of United Parks and Resorts. This position requires me to be attentive and have good customer communication skills to keep guests happy at the park. I have developed a proficiency in understanding and taking supervisory feedback to become better at what I do.I have volunteered at a hospital, handling multiple positions such as taking inventory, and working at the front desk for visitors. I am CPR certified and trained in emergency/water safety. I am also an eagle scout, which has taught me many life and survival skills that are applicable in my profession, such as working with a team under pressure and developing a project from the ground up.
