I spent 6 years as the Compliance Unit Supervisor for Unemployment Insurance within the Department of Workforce Services. My job was to make sure that all the employers in Utah were educated and compliant with filing their quarterly payroll reports for unemployment contributions. I am passionate about coming up with better ways of doing things that will save tax dollars and make governmental policies more streamline for the public to adhere to.

I was involved in all the responsibilities a manager would have in running a rental car branch. During my time at Enterprise I was able to gain valuable experience in all areas of management. From managing personel to accounting, I was involved in making decisions in all areas. I also learned a lot about working hard and under pressure as this industry is completely dead line and customer service driven. Lastly I was able to enhance my customer service skills as I dealt with customer issues and requests on a regular basis.

I also get to work with upper level management which provides me with the challenge of learning how to manage a company from a financial standpoint while also gaining experience in a leadership type setting. Through all the experiences I have had thus far, my passion and goal is to build up my experiences and responsibilities so that I will be able to hold a position in upper level management. I love project management because of the fast paced atmosphere and all the challenges that are presented each day. It carries a lot of responsibilty and expecation levels are high, but I know it is helping me develop my career and preparing me for future success.
