I am a results-driven individual who is comfortable working independently or on a team. Over my career I’ve cultivated a diverse work experience. I’ve had the privilege of working with a variety of people (Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers, Engineers, Project Managers, and Assistants), IT projects (i.e. application redesigns, new application development, network refreshes, server and storage virtualization projects, and security assessments and infrastructure hardening), and technologies (i.e. servers, storage, networking, cloud, replication/failover, virtualization, automation i.e. IaC, custom code, and data mobility i.e. Kafka). I love being part of a team that makes a direct impact on how an organization leverages technology and becomes better because of that technology. My background includes working with private, public, and government (SLED) organizations. I have experience working within budgets, creating project scope, identifying resources, kicking off projects, maintaining project trajectory, reviewing milestones, and closing both small- and large-scale projects. Each aspect is fun and presents itself with different challenges to overcome. I have the ability to work with both technical and non-technical individuals. Understanding business drivers and requirements, as well as translating those drivers and requirements to architectures, technologies, and timeline to the implementation team is experience I’ve honed in my career. Keeping a calm attitude and cool head when faced with team conflicts and misunderstandings has kept the projects I’ve worked on moving in the right direction and finishing successfully.
