• Used PIV to measure the velocity field and study the fluid dynamics of bubble formation and the water air boundary when water flows into an air-filled tank • Designed, built, and tested an automated system to open a submerged air-filled tank in under 5 milliseconds while simultaneously triggering a high-speed camera to capture images for PIV analysis. • Programmed an automated MATLAB simulation to evaluate the design constraints for a dynamic wave mimicking wind tunnel floor. This analysis included a tolerance study and a Fourier analysis • Engineered an automated pressure regulator control system in Arduino

• Leading an intern team in the design and maintenance of a more complete wind tunnel CAD system including the complete test section assembly and different mounting arrangements• Preparing wind tunnel assembly CAD arrangements to show to clients and visualize structural and mounting solutions• Mechanical design of wind tunnel mounting and model leveling systems• Simulating stresses, loads, and resonance modes using the built in Nastran FEA solver in NX
