Prior to OurCrowd, I was CEO of Resonate Industries, a startup company in the clean energy sector. Before, I served as CEO of MRV Communications, (Nasdaq: MRVC), a global telecom equipment manufacturer. I led the company from a startup to a public company with 4,000 employees worldwide and $500 million in revenue, with peak valuation exceeding $5 billion. Light Reading magazine listed me as one of the “top ten movers and shakers” in Optical Networking. Previously, I held a variety of management positions at Hewlett-Packard (US) and at Fibronics (UK, France and Israel). I served in the IDF. I currently serve on the board of directors of Capstone Turbine Corporation® (Nasdaq: CPST), Surgical Theater, and Social Print Studio. In addition, I also serve on the advisory board of Woodbury University School of Business, (Burbank CA), and on the board of the American Israeli Medical Association. I am a Governance Fellow at the NACD (the National Association of Corporate Directors).
