CurrentThe Megalim Thermal Solar Power Station is a 121MW thermal-solar power BOT project located in Israel's Negev desert, developed by Megalim Solar Power LTD. This company started as a partnership between Alstom & BrightSource, and is now owned by the Noy Fund (75%) and GE Vernova (25%)This facility stands out as Israel's first thermal-solar - concentrated solar power (CSP) plant and is among the largest of its kind globally. It features over 50,600 computer-controlled heliostats, covering more than 3 square kilometers with a 247m Solar tower.Since beginning its commercial operation phase in April 2019, the Megalim power plant has aimed to provide renewable electric power sufficient for about 50,000 households, and contributes to a reduction of CO2 emissions of 120,000 Ton/yearly. It operates under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with the State of Israel, marking a significant step towards integrating renewable energy sources into the country's energy mix.My journey at Megalim began as CFO, transitioning to CEO, where I lead diverse teams and partner with renewable energy pioneers. As CEO, I set strategic directions, make key decisions, and manage the company's long-term objectives. My role involves:▪️ Overseeing all concession-related agreements: BOT, EPC, O&M, PPA, plus natural gas and water supplies.▪️ Managing commercial and financial aspects of agreements with various stakeholders.▪️ Implementing financial risk mitigation and managing budgets.▪️ Forging partnerships and securing regulatory support.▪️ Ensuring operational excellence, safety, security, and environmental sustainability
