The North Oakland County Board of Realtors® was established in 1921 when a small group of real estate brokers joined forces to form the Pontiac Real Estate Board. In 1971, the name was changed to the Pontiac Area Board of Realtors® with an ever-growing membership. Today, the North Oakland County Board of Realtors® boasts a membership of over 5,000 members!The purpose of NOCBOR is to enhance the ability and opportunity of its members to conduct their business successfully and ethically; and to promote the preservation of the right to own, transfer and use real estate property. NOCBOR represents its members in all real estate specialties by supporting a legislative and legal environment favorable to its members.
