I LOVE what I do. I am a human services professional using my graduate management of human services education to create the most positive impact in my community. I have worked with numerous non-profit and for-profit organizations in a variety of settings and completed dozens of projects including:+ founding a youth empowerment program for adolescents whose families were homeless,+ leading organizational change through the modernization of clinical policies and procedures, + designing organizational policies and program curriculums for youth peer-groups,+ training new employees on client needs and organizational policies and procedures,+ creating program evaluation databases and reporting evaluation results to the board of directors,+ facilitating youth support groups and after-school programs, + writing grant proposals, soliciting corporate and individual donors, and organizing fundraising events. I have continuously been acknowledged by supervisors and peers for my ability to build relationships and navigate difficult situations to complete tasks on time, on budget, and in a collaborative manner. I continually go the extra mile to seek out new and improved solutions to problems. I have shown the ability to harness what’s been learned from setbacks and obstacles to attack goals in stronger, more effective ways.My mission is to work in an environment where I will continually face new challenges that allow me to hone my leadership skills and be a contributing member of the world. My vision is to empower people everywhere to recognize we are all part of a global human family. My work will only end when every person is housed, fed, educated, valued, and truly equal.Email me at nochal.msw@gmail.com to discuss potential projects.
