My name is Noe Delgado. I am majoring in computer engineering because I want to find ways to combat climate change and replace our current tax system with a more deserving and accountable way of taxing individuals in the United States of America. As a future engineer, I want to create devices that reuse materials like plastic and waste to have the ability to track how much CO2 is being produced from cars to daily appliances. This will also give an easier way of knowing how much one owes in taxes instead of worrying if they filed the wrong W-2 form. For example, instead of taxing someone on how much they make, replace the system with how much one produces CO2 in their personal and business lives. I am also employed at the University of Houston campus recreation and wellness center as a building supervisor, ensuring the safety and fun of patrons.
