I hold a key role in the safe and effective management of football activity of Tottenham Hotspur, and previously Leyton Orient, football clubs. Contributing significantly to the development of the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, I worked closely with the club throughout construction. I provided policing advice and formulated best practice to develop a safe and secure stadium including reviewing and developing infrastructure to ensure the safest movement of supporters through resilient control plans and stewarding. Planning and resourcing of football events, I prepare and deliver briefings to senior command officers to guide exceptional operational response. I provide diplomatic challenge to more senior officers often in intensely pressurised environments; utilising my specialist knowledge to secure successful outcomes. As a single point of contact for key partners from football clubs, licensed premises and law enforcement agencies; I provide the most up to date research and learning and lead on safeguarding protocols, application of policy and the appropriate sharing of information.Liaising extensively with internal and external partners, I ensure robust safeguarding application across match days, the stadium and all interaction across the football academy. I also guide visiting clubs offering clarity on resourcing requirements and security and safeguarding regulations. I served in this fast response unit addressing challenging, dangerous and high pressure situations across London and the UK. This unit also provided the first reaction to major disorder or disaster; I consistently brought a calm and reasoned approach to manage these demanding and heightened situations.
