I have 30+ years of IT experience, starting with deploying my high school's first computer network back in 1990 (Novell NetWare). My experiences have ranged from printer repair tech to IT management, and everything in between. My current position requires a blend of technology skills, personnel management, and the ability to handle working in a highly political environment. I frequently have to balance the needs of several diverse agencies and the disputes that arise, all while finding solutions that are the best fit for each agency.I have always looked at technology as more of an obsession than a career. As a result, I am constantly driven to learn new tools and techniques; and how to utilize them to improve the systems used by other people.
