Responsible for increasing market share of plumbing and kitchen & bath products, while maintaining profit margins for over 15 manufacturers, through wholesale and showroom distribution. Maintain budgets and forecasts. Designed and built product displays for trade shows. Created private label packaging. Met with Purchasing agents and CEO’s
for presentations, pricing negotiations, inventory management, sales action plans, and deal-closing strategies. Managed our in house job-quoting department. Organized wholesale customer events that included invitation and brochure design, contractor promotional items and gifts, meeting location logistics, and follow-up evaluations. Coordinated market surveys with manufacturers. Designed retail showroom display vignettes with complete layout design, product allocation and installation.

I was responsible for establishing an extensive network of Cellular Phone distributors and agents throughout New England. Cellular phone technology was introduced to the greater Boston market in 1985. Nationwide Cellular Services was a reseller of airtime for NYNEX and Cellular One as well as a wholesale distributor of several manufacturers of cellular phone equipment. 
After two years of success at managing a sales force and establishing the largest and most profitable "reseller" distributor network in New England, The parent company for Nationwide Cellular went public in 1987.
