I've been in various civil engineering projects around Alberta, including the Kearl Oil Sands Project in Fort McMurray, Shell Scotford Refinery in Fort Saskatchewan, Pipeline Expansion Projects in Cold Lake, and the Anthony Henday ring road in Edmonton. Recently, I have been doing several of health care and institutional construction in Alberta. Specifically I have been involved with new Dialysis projects, patient safety renovations and upgrading Labs to meet new Accreditation standards. I have also been involved with several school modernization projects and classroom additions. I was a Lead Project Engineer on a $350 Million Design-Build Contract for Suncor at their Fort Hills mine north of Fort McMurray, Alberta. I was involved with the project since contract award and assisted in the detailed design of 4 buildings, a 180,000 sqft Administration and Control Room Building, a Laboratory, a Storage Warehouse and a Central Maintenance Repair Facility. During the design phase I was coordinating between our design team and the various owner groups.
