I represent my team and facilitate communication between my department and others as well as manage schedules and delegate tasks. I provide core training for new Help Desk staff members and provide guidance and advice pertaining to Help Desk policy and best practice. General duties include providing support for Google Apps, Active Directory user setup and management, troubleshooting networking and printing issues, installing software and hardware, providing support for same to students, faculty and staff both on-site and remotely, process documentation and manual creation, and communicating with vendors.*Administer all aspects of Mac support on campus, including creating and pushing images, managing updates though ARD, troubleshooting network issues, and OSX Server and RAID setup and maintenance.*I provide video-conference support for international meetings and classroom observations using several technologies (WebEx, Polycom, Skype) and identify the most appropriate hardware for the task. I also provide software training to our users.*I am the main audio-video equipment support contact for regular classes and public events and work closely with vendors in upgrading equipment such as projectors and amplifiers as necessary.*I provide support and training for the Mediasite class capture system and have worked closely with vendors in upgrading our software and hardware in order to provide the best possible experience to the end user.*I was responsible for the installation of our digital signage system which is a key channel of distribution of information to our students. I handled both the physical hardware installation and for the software and network setup which involved establishing network connections to the content repository hosted at main campus in the US. My responsibilities included teaching regular advanced level media lessons and teaching a communication practice class as part of ECC's successful full-time intensive English Senka program. As part of this job I have also taught at Kogakuin University and at Tokyo University of Agriculture where I was responsible for writing course materials. I was a mainstay at Ginza Private, ECC's flagship school, before taking over the Senka class.
