In my role at Dahlsens I designed, developed and delivered training programs for 1,000 employees. Dahlsens was a complex business, including Manufacturing, Trade Sales and Retail. It has a strong focus on service to both internal and external customers. One of my main responsibilities was to lead a group of Management Development Trainees through a 12 month program that I developed and delivered. This program is a key plank in Dahlsens' focus on developing high quality leaders from within the business. Participants obtain a Diploma of Business and a Diploma of Management after successful completion of this accelerated learning program and have the opportunity to articulate to an Associated Diploma and Bachelor Degree at one of three Universities. In addition, I designed and delivered a range of programs that address behavioural skills and knowledge as well as managing external providers of specialist training. I also performed generalist HR duties, including recruitment, performance management, policy development, exit interviews, counselling and management advice.
