Most recently, as a data engineer, I've been working on pipelines for data ingestion into our data lake environment, making use of Scala, Spark, Kafka and Azure Databricks. Show less

With Equinor, my project was focused around the development of an oil well analytics dashboard in Spotfire, to allow for interactive meetings regarding the companies offshore Canadian assets. Utilizing Python, I also created programs to automate the seismic volume naming process, and provide a starting point for the office's file clean-up initiatives.

My project with Husky was focused on exploring and developing an innovative machine learning approach to the well recompletion evaluation process. With Python and it's machine learning libraries, the technical workflow was partially automated and the technical analysis time decreased from 1-hour per well to under a minute for 1000 wells, with improved precision. Within Suncor Energy's strong focus on Health and Safety, the Process Operator plays a key role. Working within an operations team in a refining unit, I was responsible for safely monitoring all production processes and equipment, through troubleshooting, sample collection and routine operating tasks.

BioLargo Water is focused on developing water treatment technology to solve one of the world's biggest challenges. As a research intern, my project involved using a neural network and developing a machine learning model, performing with 85% accuracy, to predict disinfection performance on the Advanced Oxidation System technology. I also ran flow through experiments to enhance the experimental database.
