Completed a 4-month co-operative education placement working full time in the systems support department. Tasks included supporting processes in other departments by scanning invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, and various other documents. Performed administrative duties when needed, such as answering calls and assisting guests. Used the KOFAX application for scanning and also performed data entry for many documents.

Initially completed a 1-month full-time placement. Projects completed during my placement included creating schemas of LHSC’s smaller data marts, creating inventory tracking spreadsheets, and creating simple reports in Tableau. After a successful placement, I was hired part time to help with the high workload in the department. I finished creating schema maps in MS Visio for all of LHSC’s data marts, which were useful for new employees in the Business Intelligence department. My most notable project during this contract extension was developing a Microsoft Excel VBA-based application to assist the wait times department by automatically filling and formatting reports and emails, ultimately saving that department many hours of work.

Worked full time as part of LHSC’s recruitment team. Assembled reports,and composed offer letters to be sent to chosen job candidates. Accessed and utilized a 3rd party candidate references system

Worked within 3M’s sourcing department completing projects as part of a high school co-op. Updated a vendor database by deleting expired, obsolete vendors. Also assisted with filing of expenses and various general office tasks.
