The Copenhagen Metro is responsible for half of the public transport users in the capital, with figures exceeding two million passengers per week, distributed across 5 lines that operate 24/7. It is one of the most automated metro systems in the world, with vehicles operated entirely automatically.Currently, I work with the department responsible for renovating the oldest metro lines, M1 and M2, in creating and designing the project portfolio schedules to be carried out. The biggest challenge of these projects is the precise coordination and logistics required to continue providing uninterrupted 24/7 service during the phases of renovation, vehicle updates, and testing.My main responsibilities include:- Creation and design of schedules: Adapting MS Project to meet the demands of different projects and departments involved.- Scope investigation of schedules, resource optimization, and constraint analysis.- Risk and cost management and tracking.- Interdepartmental collaboration and effective communication.- Adaptability to changing conditions: Managing specific demands and testing various proposals to meet different portfolio needs.- Development of innovative solutions: Formulating proposals and recommendations for more efficient and detailed monitoring, as well as implementing best practices.
