I recently graduated from Faulkner University's Jones School of Law with my J.D. I have been a certified paralegal for 20 years, and my work experience consists of working for the Alabama Department of Labor as well as solo practicing attorneys. During my time at the Dept. of Labor, my responsibilities involved communicating with attorneys, the public, and court staff state-wide on cases daily and being in charge of releasing records for the Department. Also, I ensured that all Answers to appeals were filed on time. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 13 years ago, and my life changed. Through my experiences with M.S., I have grown a passion for helping others with disabilities. I aim to work with clients who have been discriminated against due to their disabilities. I am honing my skills in mediation to help resolve cases like this outside of the judicial system.
