Responsible for the management of key Dignity Health initiatives including the IT infrastructure delivery to support the EHR Program and Unified Communications Program, Integration of bedside medical devices with the EHR system, Cerner enhancements and software upgrades.

• Provided leadership and project management oversight of 5 Project Managers involved in the planning and implementation of EHR related projects. Implementations range from single facility to enterprise-wide implementations. • Managed remote command centers during EHR go-lives and activations.• Directly project managed the Cerner Millennium implementation for the new St. Joseph’s Westgate Medical Center located in Glendale, Arizona. Scope of work included the full suite of Cerner Millennium applications, integration of third party applications, and end user device equipment planning and deployment. Opened May 2014 and was Dignity Health’s first hospital to have a fully functioning EHR system on day 1 of opening. Cerner Implementation budget of $1.5M.

Responsible for the project planning and current state assessments for the EHR implementation.

Major Projects:Oversaw the delivery of the new 284-bed replacement hospital, data center migration, new hospital transition planning, Meditech Upgrade and new solutions, project delivery, and decommission of the old hospital site.

Managed the delivery of IT services at Mercy Medical Center Merced, a Catholic Healthcare West affiliate. Responsibilities include strategic development, project management, and the IT components of the new hospital planning and transition.

Managed regional project implementations of both clinical and business applications, process improvements, and systems integration. Projects have included the implementation of a the staff scheduling system, patient acuity system, organ transplant tracking system, badging system, point of care information management system, admission auditing, point of sale systems, pharmacy medication carousel system, and various HL7 interfaces.
