Having qualified as an Engineer (B.E. Civil) in 1991 and after a successful career in the Construction sector, I transferred to the Medical Device industry in 2015. To facilitate this move with the intention of securing a technical/engineering role in the Medical Device sector, I have up-skilled by achieving qualifications in Project Management (P.M.P.), Lean Systems (A.S.Q. Green Belt in Six Sigma) and a Level 8 Certificate in Medical Device & Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. I have recently been promoted to the position of Process Technician at Goodman Medical Ireland Ltd., where I have been employed since September 2015, initially as a Production Operator, producing cardio-vascular implants.I am extremely grateful to the Engineering team at Goodman Medical for providing me with the opportunity to use my knowledge and experience of Engineering, Project Management, Medical Device Manufacturing and Lean/Six Sigma in this challenging technical role,I plan to build on this opportunity over time and progress further to an even more challenging Technical/Engineering position.
