- Key member of the private equity operating team, providing oversight to portfolio companies, and collaborating with the Operating Partner and portfolio company executives to create value and craft exit strategies. Liaison between portfolio company executives and the Board.- Provides management consulting services to private equity firms throughout the entire investment cycle of portfolio companies, including (1) transaction, transition, and transformation of business; and (2) operational value creation, including working capital optimization, recapitalization, bottom line optimization, top-line expansion (e.g., M&A and business model development), and core-business optimization (e.g., divestiture of non-core business and alignment of sales incentives). - Fractional and interim CFO as needed. Key advisor to the PE firm, Operating Partner, and CEOs, COOs and CFOs of portfolio companies.- Provides fundraising expertise and financial oversight to companies as they transition from start-up to maturity, expertise include scenario planning, financial modeling and valuation, review of operating cycles and value drivers, financial due-diligence, mergers and acquisition, IPO readiness, carve-outs, divestiture, business process and controls optimization, risk assessment, and financial reporting.
