• Reports to the Director, Global Asset Management, and responsible for providing oversight and direction to the facilities operations and maintenance team in the planning, scheduling, and execution of routine maintenance and calibration activities across STECMELL’s global operations.• Acts as the project lead for the planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution of major shutdown activities of GMP and ISO cleanrooms across STEMCELL facilities in Vancouver and in close collaboration with operations, quality, reliability, and procurement.• Steward and take part of the organization’s Maintenance & Reliability Committee in conducting RCA (Ishikawa, why-why analysis, and FMEA) to improve equipment reliability and process improvement opportunities (Kaizen, Lean MFG, and 5S).• Lead and manages the developing and implementing of required work processes, standard operating procedures, and job plans to ensure safe, and reliable facility operations.

Singapore

• Accountable for uninterrupted and safe supply of key GMP utilities such as clean steam, water for injection, compressed air, purified water, and plant steam to support manufacturing operations.• Partner with Engineering Validation to develop and execute commissioning (FAT & SAT) and qualification protocols (IQ, OQ and PQ) for GMP utilities equipment.• Develop the Design, User Requirement, and Functional specifications including control and automation philosophy for critical GMP utilities with key stakeholders.• Led and facilitated non-conformance root cause analysis (Ishikawa, why-why analysis, and QFMEA) and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean MFG, and 5S).• Acts as the Subject matter expert to internal and external health authority audits (FDA, EMA, HSA) to ensure GMP permit to operate certification is achieved.• Managed the yearly O&M budget, vendor service contracts, and capital expenditures (asset renewal, expansion, etc.) • Improve Operations & Maintenance programs and processes through lean management and continuous improvement culture. • Adhered and promoted Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety, Health, and Environment policies.
