I'm a sophmore at San Jacinto College studying Social and Behavioral Science and will soon transfer to a four-year university to get my B.A. in Social Work. Growing up, it has always been my priority to help those around me and would try to put myself in the shoes of others. This allowed me to see the world from a wider perspectice and become more empathetic. To put it simply, the world needs more social workers; specificially, the kind of social workers that prioritze the well-being of the families they work with. With my drive to help others and listen to the world around me, I will work to become a social worker that influences the lives of families for the better and ensures all their needs are accounted for.
