✰ What do the Translation industry and basketball have in common, and what have I learnt from both of them?➪ WHAT I DOAs a Translation Project Manager I am responsible of making sure our projects scrupulously meet the quality criteria and deadlines set by our clients wishing to have their documents translated into other languages.As a basketball player I have learnt many skills that have helped me develop my capabilities as Project Manager. To me, teamwork and communication skills are key to success: when everyone gives their best, their strengths counteract their weaknesses, and the company obstains an unbeatable team.These past years I have been devoted to managing different types of projects, working in companies of the translation and localization industry, such as MondragonLingua, Local Concept or Seprotec. Not only have I developed new skills, but I have also faced new challenges I was able to cope with by applying them.I am a very communicative person that loves multicultural environments, since I strongly believe you can learn a lot from other cultures, and sometimes even your own. I cannot think about my job without giving my best on each project, and without trying to figure out what can be done so the team keeps on improving and growing.
