As a CalFresh Specialist, I educate and promote outreach efforts to encourage students to apply for CalFresh (SNAP) benefits. I assist students through an appointment base system and discuss their eligibility with confidentiality. I have led events with on-campus and off-campus partners and have advocated for CalFresh in the classrooms. I am a voice for CalFresh and destigmatizing food insecurity among college students, and I represented CSUSM students' needs through committees and workgroups.-Led the first Basic Needs Fair and collaborated with 9 additional on-campus partners for over 150 students who attended
