Both as a doctoral researcher and as a CFD Engineer in a new field, I have learned to enjoy answering open questions and understanding that doing this thoroughly takes persistence, teamwork, and the willingness to learn new skills, mostly independently, along the way. I enjoy the process of going from not having the answers or the right tools to tackle a problem, to sharing the results with others. After my PhD, I transitioned from the field of computational astrophysics to combustion and now work as a CFD engineer. While, I am able to use my technical skills from my previous experiences, I am enjoying the opportunity of learning about a field that's new for me. In this position, I assist clients with implementing new functionalities to large commercial software, to help them with the unique and specialised needs.During my PhD career, I worked with an existing large hydrodynamical simulation code and my own hydrodynamical model developed together with a collaborator. I enjoy learning new technical skills, such as deep learning, software development and gaining experience in different programming languages. I have a Master's in astrophysics from the Astromundus, Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degree programme, through which I have studied in Austria, Italy and Germany. During my undergraduate years, I studied physics in Canada and received my Bachelor's degree in physics from Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary. Throughout my studies, I have enjoyed meeting new people and forming invaluable connections.
