In a team of 16 people in the Energy and Transitions Department of the Climate, Air and Energy Direction, I have 2 main missions:- Structure wood energy sector in Hauts-de-France. For this, with the Agency for Environment and Energy Management and the interprofession of wood industry, I study the available resources, establish diagnoses on the equipment of upstream (forest work companies, sawyers, storage platforms, carriers) and downstream (boilers and urban district heating systems), accompany project promoters, review grant applications. In 2017 I helped to create 5 wood heating systems and acquire one wood chipper, for a total investment of around 4 million euros and 1.5 million euros in regional and european subsidies.- Develop geothermal energy in Hauts-de-France. This region has indeed a real potential, as well for geothermal heat pumps (on groundwater or ground source) as for deep geothermal energy. Yet today only 1.5 GWh are produced by geothermal energy. The Region has set a target of doubling this production by 2020, and increasing it by 6 in 2050. To this end, a regional animation has been set up to unite and mobilise the stakeholders, publicise the interest of this technology and carry out studies of opportunities to encourage the potential project developers to build geothermal installations. In 2017, I was able to study grant applications for feasibility studies and construction of 6 geothermal installations, for a total amount of 8 million euros, subsidised by the Region for 1.5 million euros.

- Project Manager of the Regional Energy Climate Plan: project team constitution and coordination -50 persons working in 10 different directions-, definition of objectives and actions, project review, monitoring and evaluation.In this position, I demonstrated the ability to elaborate a collaborative action program in order to mitigate climate change. Thanks to improvement of energy efficiency of administrative buildings and high schools, which the Region owns, energy consumptions have reduced and over than 600.000 euros of certificates of energy savings have been generated.- Leadership of a regional network of Picardy local public communities engaged in energy climate policies, in partnership with Agency for Environment and Energy Management. This network brought together climate plan project managers 4 times a year to share experiences, equip them with methodological tools, upgrade them to the areas of action of climate plans, and cross-check the issues.

- Project Manager of Territorial Energy Climate Plan. This was the first territorial energy climate plan developed in Picardy. The approach was entirely voluntary, as climate plans were not mandatory for communities of less than 20.000 inhabitants.- Communication on territorial energy and environment policy: organisation of event weeks around sustainable development.
