Led bKash's launch of digital Savings, Loan and Insurance businesses in partnership with financial institutions (Savings - IDLC Finance, Loan - City Bank, Insurance - Guardian Life Insurance). Responsibilities ranged from determining pricing strategy and undertaking commercial negotiations, developing and executing go-to-market plan and supervising organisation-wide operations.

Established and led bKash's Financial Services team to develop bKash's digital Savings, Loan and Insurance products.

Advised bKash on the use of financial technology to develop new products and service bKash's core business goals.

My work involved developing the policy agenda and undertaking policy research for the Financial Market Linkages workstream of the Asia Pacific Financial Forum (APFF). The APFF is an initiative of the APEC Business Advisory Council that brings together financial market policymakers and industry experts to advise APEC Finance Ministers and Leaders on policy and regulatory reforms to promote financial market connectivity and development in the Asia-Pacific.

Primary responsibility involved monitoring and analysing developments in international financial markets during the global financial crisis, with a special focus on financial market events with broader macroeconomic implications.
