About Noha Gaballah

Noha Gaballah has more than 30 years’ working experience in project management and administration in international non-governmental and governmental organizations. She is currently Executive Manager & Deputy to the National Project Director of “Empowering and Connecting the Community through ICT” Project of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). She has been working at MCIT since January 2005 and held the post of International Relations Administration Department Manager for three years before taking up her current post. She has excellent project management skills, with in-depth knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, strategic planning and personnel management. She has Monitoring & Evaluation skills in project administration and budget monitoring in line with project objectives and benchmarks.‎ Before joining MCIT, Noha was Senior Program Officer at the Arab World office of the New York-based Population Council where she administered the Reproductive Health Program (1995-2005). Prior to that, she was Program Officer, Fulbright Commission, for three years (1993-1995), administering projects with the Ministry of Education (MoE) under the Teacher Exchange Segment between Egypt and the Unites States. She was also Program Officer at the Dubai Commerce and Tourism Promotion Board for two years (1991-1993), Housing Assistant at the American Embassy in Egypt for seven years (1984-1991) and Secretary at USAID, Egypt for one year (1983-1984). Having worked with international donor agencies as the Ford Foundation, USAID, UNDP, WB, UNCTAD, Noha has considerable experience in ‎development-related fields such as education, reproductive health, ‎equity, citizen's rights, capacity and institutional building.
