• Architected, designed, implemented, integrated, and debugged a variety of system software blocks, device drivers, communication protocols, and video processing software for Polycom’s video communication endpoints.• Technical lead/Android Evangelist in the design, development, and implementation of an ARM-based (OMAP3) touch panel device (Polycom Touch Control) running Android platform.• Architected platform services/interfaces for Android applications (call control, calendaring, and directory services) as well as developed Android platform software including Linux device drivers.• Involved in the definition of system/platform and application software architecture for video communication endpoints (ARM based multi-core SOC)• Involved in identifying, presenting, evaluating, and the integration of new standards and technologies in endpoint products as well into the software development process.• Provided guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to other members of the technical staff and engineering community.• Created design specifications and participated in software design and implementation activities.
